Gibson Grabber + Badass 2

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,
has anyone here done this mod? I just bought a badass 2 for my grabber (I tried it with a badass 1, but was told it wouldn't work by a local luthier).

Doing a quick dry run today, I noticed the bridge does not line up with the stock holes. Is this normal? I'd love to hear anyone's experiences with this mod.

The BA II is designed as a direct retro fit for Fender Precision and Jazz basses. As such, there is no reason to assume that it should fit a Gibson bass. Installing this bridge will require boring hole to accept the bridge. Care must be taken to locate the bridge properly.
