Gibson Ripper truss rod tool?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I want to make some truss rod adjustments on a Gibson Ripper that I got a few weeks back and so I unscrewed the cover to find a very alien, vintage-looking truss rod bolt.

Does anyone happen to know where I can get a tool for this?

I am based in the U.K

Thankyou.

If it's the original, it's just a hex-head nut. I don't recall the size that Gibson uses, but it's English, not metric. It's bigger than 1/4", I THINK it's 5/8". Generally on Gibsons there's enough room to slip a regular nut driver over it.

5/16" socket or nut-driver.

I bought one of these for my G3, works like a charm. http://cgi.ebay.com/GIBSON-truss-rod...QQcmdZViewItem
I don't remember how much mine cost, there are a bunch of them on there for various prices, but it was under $20.
