Going between standard and C#

Hi, I was wondering if there are any dangers to changing the tuning on a bass often? The bass in question is a Highway One Jazz, which will most likely be changed from standard to C#, for Black Sabbath esque playing.

Is is bad for the neck to be changing the tuning so greatly every few days or even more often? What sort of adjustments will I have to make to the bass each time I tune it?
