Good place to buy 5 tuners?

I'm sure I'll feel like a moron when there are some answers given, but for the life of me I can't find any online stores that sell Grover or Schaller tuners in packs of 5, or individually so I can order 5. Everybody and their brother carries them in 4 packs, and they carry Hipshot individuals, but they cost more than I want to spend.

So how about it? Am I overlooking somebody?

The thing is, these are for my G&L Tribute, so they have to be shaped like these:

May I ask what's wrong with the tuners on your G&L?

I don't have a Tribute, only 2 USA L2500s, but I see absolutely no reason to replace them at all. Mine stay in tune for weeks... Are the Tribute tuners different from the USA tuners? As far as I know (and I could be wrong), the G&L tuners are aluminum and are lighter than the standard Schaller open-back tuners. I have Schallers on my J-bass (Warmoth) and they are HEAVY compared to the stock G&L tuners.

You might have trouble finding them sold individually if Schaller only distributes them in packs of 4. My guess is that Warmoth and the other online retailers sell them in sets of 4 because that's how they come from Schaller.

I'm not familiar with any Grover dealers, so I can't comment on those. Good luck.

Yes, the Tribute tuners are different than the USA tuners. They are much cheaper.

The tuners work fine, and they don't NEED to be replaced. However, I have an SX with even cheaper tuners that DO need to be replaced. I was planning on putting the G&L tuners on it, then putting the new ones on my G&L. Plus the chrome is flaking off the G&L tuners.

This is just God's way of letting you know that you REALLY should put a Hipshot Extender (drop-tuner) on that 5th string!
