Question Good Setup/Tech Guys In Toronto Area?

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone from the area know of any really good places to have a setup done? Obviously I'm not looking for a Long & McQuade sort of place, and money doesn't matter too much. I'd rather not go higher than $150. This is to set up my EBMM Sterling, and also an acoustic guitar.

Anyone been to The Twelfth Fret? Seems like a nice store, I'm considering having them do it.

Thanks as always,
Graeme

The Twelft Fret is a good place for set ups, fret replacement and pretty well any stringed instrument work. They are more expensive than the other places but they'll get it right for you the way you like it. I used to live a couple blocks from there and went in often. They've done a couple good jobs for me. I don't know of any others I'd trust.

They also are about the only store I know of in the Toronto area that has Thomastic flatwound strings. Some beautiful high end acoustic guitars too.

They keep banker's hours there so check their schedule before you drive all the way in.
