Gotoh 203 for Rondo Shortscale P?

Sign in to disble this ad
It's not 100% clear from my search that the extra two front holes on the Gotoh 203 bridge would fit the corresponding holes on my new Rondo shortscale P. Anybody know?

Well, even if the two "extra" holes closest to the neck don't line up exactly, it shouldn't be all that difficult to "fill and drill" if one is sure the Gotoh 203 is the desired replacement bridge for that bass.

From the diagram, it seems that the original two holes in question are closer to the sides than on the Gotoh, but it may be worth it to drill two new holes or go with a five-hole bridge instead.

I have a Gotoh 201 that works really well on my P and never missed the two extra holes. I had to shim the neck though as the gotoh is higher than a fender vintage one.
