Gotoh GB7 Tuners - opinions?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am referring to these - http://www.warmoth.com/catalog/produ...ducts_id=24249 - At forty dollars for a set of four tuners, it seems like a great deal. I am considering getting these for my SX. How are they?

If your SX is a fender copy, The Gotoh GB7 s will be too small.

These are most likely what you need.

Yep.

The GB7 is my favorite tuner, and they were stock on my Fender MB-5... but every other Fender (and all the SX necks I've seen) have 11/16 tuner holes and the GB7 is for a 14mm (9/16) tuner hole.

The Gotoh GB7 is 3/8" and pretty much a standard of the industry...Peavey, Pedulla, Modulus, etc. I greatly prefer the Hipshot Ultralite (same mounting footprint) although they are more expensive.
