Wink Great high-mass Fender drop-in replacement!

I just went to the guitar shop at Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center, and they have 4 or 5 Smith 4 string bridges on their wall. This is a really top quality bridge that is a 5-screw Fender drop-in replacement. Much better than a Badass II IMO, Ken Smith modelled his bridge after the Badass II, but added a lot of really good improvements (the plate is machined instead of cast). I don't know if they ship, but give them a call if you're in the market. These things are very hard to find, and Smith doesn't sell them as an individual part any more I don't think.

Here's a (bad) picture of the of the one on my Palaedium (replaced a Badass II).

When I had my Smith Burner, I loved the bridge on it - best bridge design ever I suspect. I thought Ken still had the parts section on his website, but I'm not sure.

I might have to call you for a chrome 4 string bridge to use on a bass I'm putting back together

The mass of a BAII and top loading? How much does this miracle of brass cost?
