Groove Tubes Fatfinger Bass Sustain Enhancer??

I wasn't really sure where to post this thread, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. If it is in the wrong section, please point it out for me. (Haven't been on TB since Nov. 2009)

Anyways, does anyone have any experience with the above item? Apparently it adds sustain to your bass, but does anyone on TB have positive (or negative) reviews on it? Thanks in advance. Hopefully, there won't be any trolls around here.

It's really designed to add mass to the headstock in an attempt to minimize the usual dead spots on many bolt-on necks. In terms of overall sustain, the difference will be minimal. It might be more noticeable in conjunction with a high mass bridge but that also changes the timbre of the instrument. If your bass suffers from dead spots, there's not much that will change that. If you simply need more sustain, try a compressor or look into a neck-thru design for your next bass purchase.
