Grounding Problem in Volume Control or is it me?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Lakland 55-01 that I love very much but I seem to have this grounding buzzing noise whenever I turn the volume control between say 2-9 and I have to turn the volume control to max to get rid of the noise. I've taken it to Lakland twice and had it looked at and even changed out the Volume Pot. When I play it before I leave the shop it sounded great, but a couple of days after I get home sure enough, the ground noise returns. I'm using a GK Backline 600thru an Avatar B210 and neither seems to be at fault. Is it me? Am I missing something?
