GSR200 needs gone over

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, new to the forum, new to basses and guitars in general. I just picked up a new GSR200 (never played new) and it needs some setting up. 1st and 4th strings hit around fret 4 and 5.

I know there are like four different things I can do to adjust it, but not sure what exactly affects which (if it is a truss rod adjustment, or a simple action adjustment needed or what)...any advice for the newb? I appreciate it guys! I wanna get learning as fast as I can!!!

Thanks!

Sam

I would take it to your local store and ask the tech department to show you...call first and ask if there is a fee.

Hmmm, not a bad idea. I was always under the impression they wanted to keep that sort of stuff to themselves! Would be like trying to teach someone how to do their own valve adjustment on their Honda.

Cool man, will do that!
