GWB35 Truss rod re-bowing

Sign in to disble this ad
So I got my GWB35 a couple of months ago, and I've tampered with the truss rod a few times. After a few days it seems to reset by itself, just re bows on its own!

This is driving me mad. I've got medium gauge strings on it, and the amount of bow I'm leaving in the neck is similar to gary willis, when I fret the 1st and 24th fret on the A string there's a distance of about the thickness of a credit card from the string to the fretboard on the 12th fret. Give it a week It'll be about twice that. Whats going on?

I'm working really hard getting his technique together and when I bring this bass to a rehearsal and its re-bowed I can't get around it as well

Should I try lighter gauge strings? And suggestions would be great
