| Hagstrom 8 string HB8 setup question:
Hi. I'm new here.
I'm purchasing a new Hagstrom HB-8 short scale 8 string bass.
I'm wondering if this thing can be set up in similar fashion to my jazz bass which I've modified slightly to take the top 4 of a 5 string set so I can tune B - F# - B - E
This is for a pacific project I'm doing. It's kind of doom/drone/metal sounding.
Being that it's SS and 8 string, I have zero practical experience. I'm happy to keep it in standard tuning if it's a huge hassle or major nut job etc etc. Just throwing this out to the tech talkers in the hopes that I can make this bass fit into the above project. Gracias. |
