I took care of the ground issue and the set screw concern, I think.

Looks good! The brass plate connecting the strings with the cavity ground is a good idea and well-placed. Thumbs up for actually listening to critique, too.

IMO, the top edges still need to be rounded over.

Not a fan of the shim/wedge method of saddle height adjustment.

Excellent work. This will look even better than the first.

I do agree that the upper edges need to be rounded, but I tend to lay my hand on the bridge when I use a pick and that top edge doesn't look like a comfy place to rest my hand.

As I said in the first thread, I absolutely applaud you on the design and craftsmanship that goes into this and I would gladly fork over $175 for one of these. Gotta be in a nice dark black ebony though, since the bass I would put it on is black and will soon have an ebony fretboard and an ebony nut. An ebony bridge will make it perfect. It's a disease that I haven't found a cure to yet. I just can't stop modifying.

i keep wondering how 4 screws through 4 little holes in a thin wood plate are going to be strong enough to keep the strings from just ripping the thing off the top of the bass. is there going to be some sort of metal reinforcement at the mounting screw holes?

for that matter, why not make it 5 screws so it will fit a fender without drilling?
