Having trouble with my bass....

Hello

I'm having a problem that I'm not sure how to fix and wondered if anyone would be able to help?

I've been using drop B tuning a lot lately, and have been using a .125 string for the B (4 string bass) which required the nut to be filed to accommodate this.
I want to go back to using standard, for a while anyway, but my nut slot is now too big for a .110 gauge
I don't want to replace the nut or have it built up again in case I need to switch between the string gauges, so I need a more temporary solution!

Any ideas? Thank you, it's much appreciated

Buy a new bass or buy a new nut.

I'm sure there are cheaper options but I'd rather just keep one bass strung with the thicker strings and one bass strung with the lighter strings. Just my opinion.
