Heavy-Cut Rubbing Compound?

Sign in to disble this ad
Closest thing I can find locally is the Turtle Wax Premium Grade but its more of a medium cut. I have tons of the the polishing compounds (Meguiar's #7, 3M Finesse-It, etc.) but I need to get a little aggressive with the more obstinate blems. I welcome any suggestions but would like to stick with products that are readily available locally.

Thanks!

Riis

Contact Eagle Abrasives, get the Buflex sampler kit.

Have you tried Meguiar's Diamond Cut Compound? It's supposed to be pretty aggressive and is appropriate after 1200 grit sanding.

Thanks for the suggestions. To clarify, I'm trying to beautify the clear coat on a 55-02. Lots of superficial scratches but, then again, it was a touring bass.

Riis, this may be a longshot, but have you ever heard of zaino? www.zainobros.com

I've got some in the garage and will try it on a beater bass to see what it does
