Help: Badass II and my Jazz Special

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Fender gurus I have a question for you. I want to get a Badass II bridge (black/grooved) for my '89 Jazz Special.

I found this one on ebay.

http://compare.ebay.com/like/3603099...=263602_309572

The pic is showing a 3 hole design but says it's made for P's and J basses. Mine is a 5 hole and my question is do you think it is just a stock pic or are there some variances and some Fender P's have 3 holes instead of 5?

Thanks guys.

You say you want a BA II, then post an eBay listing for a BA III.

The BA II will have 5 holes. I believe the reason they use 3 holes on the III is due to the fact that there are an additional 4 holes drilled for the string-thru and Leo and Co. figured that the bridge would lose quality with the loss of any more mass. Right or Wrong?

I believe it has 3 screww holes because the fender bridge it replaces also has 3 screw holes.
