Usually the best thing to do is to use the information available in the sticky posts in this forum. Do a complete setup as well as you can, then if you discover specific problems, post those specific problems and chances are that you will get help.

For instance, why do you need tuners? And why a new bridge, unless there is none? You can help everyone by providing specific information.

My advice is that unless the tuners won't keep the strings tight, ignore them for now. Also - if there is a bridge, don't replace it yet.

Do the setup, play it, evaluate what you have and then report back.

The problem with the tuners is that when my uncle gave me the bass it doesn't had tuners..
So I have to buy new...
I'm gonna try the old bridge and if it works I'm going to keep it for a little...

Thanks for the advise!!!

What do you say?
It's worth buying or no?
It's a Gold Wilkinson Vintage Bass Bridge Type BB4....

Well you have to measure the tuner "holes" to get the correct bushing/tuner set. Do that and go to the website of the tuners you want to buy and match them up.

@Randall
Yes I measured the holes to get the correct size...
I found the keys that I'm going to buy in a very good price. I think I'm gonna order them right now..

might be just me but your bridge looks offset from where it should be, you could prolly get away with fender or squire replacement parts, but follow randalls lead on this one. its a short-scale also? neato

Yes it's a short scaled bass...
I'm thinking of getting this bridge:

It's pretty cheap (around 5$).
You think it's worth buying or I should go for something a little expensive?

Your original bridge looks to be in good shape . Why not see it it sets up right before you buy a new one?. Unless you have some money burning a hole in your pocket .

I agree - the bridge you have appears to be as good as the ones you're asking about. Why not finish the tuner install (thanks for the explanation) and setup before deciding whether it needs a bridge?

Oh you're right...
So I'm gonna install the new key tuners first and then see if I need a bridge...I have a little problem fixing this old one but I'm gonna make it..

One more question......
I'm thinking of changing pickups in one of my basses (the other bass is a Squire P Bass)...
I play mostly metal.
What pickups do you think will fit? (EMGs? Duncans?)
