Help on buzzing string

Sign in to disble this ad
I just put a warmoth neck on my jazz body. It doesn't have a truss rod adjustment on it but the neck has a very small bow to it, which from what i read is what I want. It has amazingly low action and plays great, except for the A string buzzes at the nut. I can hold down on the string where it crosses the nut and it doesn't buzz. I tried adjusting the bridge saddle but that never helped. Any tips are appreciated, Thanks

Are you sure it does not have a truss rod adjustment? I find that hard to believe. Does it have a screw or a truss rod bullet in the heel joint?

Anyway, it sounds like there isnt enough downward tension on the string. Try restringing it, making sure to have as large of a downward angle to the string tree as possible.
