HELP !! dating vintage jazz bass bridge covers

I am restoring a 65 jazz bass.It is missing the "F"bridge cover and the metal pickup cover.Is there any way to tell the difference between a 65 cover and a 70 or for that matter the early 80's reissue or the current Fender reissue covers?
