HELP! Drop tuning setup

I have and ltd f404 which is tuned down to d then drop tuned to c. Its a neckthru and getting a lot of fret buzz. Anyone know of a reference guide either hard copy or online thst can help? Thanks

You could change the string guage... That would result in different tension.

I've changed string gauge. Tried xl all the way up. I will try adjusting the action though. Thanks

Raise the action, move the bridge saddles back to properly intonate, adjust your truss rod to taste and you should be good.
