I'm a new member, and I had a question about my bass that I figured someone would be able to help me with.

I have an Ibanez GRS200, and I keep having minor problems with it. (Tone and volume pots coming loose, but not disconnected, fixed that myself), but recently my strings started to rattle really badly in when played open and on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd frets. I'm not sure if it needs a new nut, I need to adjust the truss rod, or there is some other problem I'm unaware of. Anyone have an idea? Thanks!

Read the sticky first and learn how to measure and adjust the releif and take it from there.

Ah, sorry, I checked the stickies and didn't see anything. Thanks very much though! I checked the link and loosened my truss and it sounds GREAT now.
