I've got a fender bass, and i recently put in some dunlop straplocks.
I used the original screws that come with it to put in the bass. After about a week, the top straplock (above the neck) started coming loose.
so i unscrewed it, put in a wooden toothpick, and let it sit with some superglue. so thinking my problem was solved, within minutes it was loose, again. so i tried more superglue with a wooden toothpick, and the same thing. then i tried two wooden toothpicks, with no glue, and still the same thing. THEN i tried 2 thicker, plastic toothpicks, with a new screw this time, but the same size, and not even 60 seconds of standing it was loose.
i don't know what to do, and i really hope i haven't really messed up my bass bad. so please! can someone tell me what to do to fix this problem?!?! thank you thank you thank you |
