HELP! Tone hammer knob broke off!

hey guys, i came home to find my aguilar tone hammer on the floor with the bass knob broken off! I'm not the original owner and i got it on talkbass a while back so i guess the warranty is no good! what do i do?

NFN, but... don't think this would be a warranty claim even if you were the original owner.

The short answer is... just get it fixed. Do you have a local tech in your area? Also, you could always contact Aguilar directly for help... they're a first rate outfit.

Yeah I figured it wasn't. Crappy part is I got a bunch of gigs and just moved to SF so I don't really know of any techs in the area.

From the Aguilar website, here's a list of their dealers. Maybe one of them can help.

Aguilar Amplification: Bass Pedals, Bass Pickups, Bass Preamps, Bass Amplifiers, and Bass Speaker Cabinets

At the very least, give Aguilar a call. If there's a way they can "ease the pain" I'm sure they will.
