I have a 6 year old Warwick Thumb 5 NT. Anyway it has been set up on schedule since I bought the thing. I have been having some problems recently with action and intonation.

MY FINGERBOARD IS COMING UNGLUED FROM THE NECK!!! AHHHHHHHHH

I live in southwest Virginia and I need the name and number of a good repairman...asap. Thanks so so much. I love this bass and the tone it produces. Please help me!

If you bought it new, I'd have thought this sort of thing would come under their warranty. In normal use fretboards should not come off the neck.

You should initially contact your local dealer and see what they say. You'll get that info at the www.warwickbass.com site. If the bass is second hand the dealer should be able to recommend someone to fix it properly.

It was bought brand new but the warranty was up after 5 years.

I think there are a few repairmen down the road in Winston-Salem.

Still worth a call.

A lot of times for issues like this manufacturers will treat the warranty length leniently. Let's face it in normal circumstances a fretboard shouldn't come of a neck in 20 years, let alone 6!

Good luck!

Hi.

Definitely worth a call.

Now I don't own any Warwick products, but from what I've read, their CS/after sales is exellent.

Regards
Sam
