Here is my bass, can i make it a Piccolo? :D

Hey guys, im new to talk bass! So hey

I recently got a new Ibanez guitar, to be exact this one :
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eb_...&series_id=112

And for my major end of school exams i am learning this piece :

Ive never made it to the world of Piccolo bass so im not sure how to go about it. Im looking for suggestions on strings please and what i need to do to the bass if anything to enable me to put the strings on. I know there are piccolo bass threads, but i was hoping there could be someone who can tell me to my exact bass if im going to run into any problems or not, and what strings to end up getting.

Cheers
-Anthony

A bass isn't piccolo. The strings are. Buy a piccolo set, install it, do your setup and you have it.

Probably have to adjust the action/relief since the strings are so much thinner.

Truss rod. If you don't know how to set up your bass to cope with different strings, this seems like a good time to learn.

Just a regular setup. Trussrod, action, intonation, pickups.

Why don't you hop on over to the strings section of TB and ask that question.
Here's a link to one site that has several different sets for sale.
