Hex Wrench on a Ken Smith Bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
i bought a used Ken Smith bridge on ebay, and upon installing it, the saddle height wasn't properly in line, so i tried adjusting it, and lo-and-behold, none of my hex wrenches could fit, i went to hardware stores with the bridge and couldn't find anything that would fit.

apparently, its the same thing with bad-ass II bridges... is it?

so i was wondering any of you guys can help me find a hex wrench that would fit a ken smith bridge. incidentally, i also have a ken smith bsr5ms, and i am just glad there never was a need to set up the saddle height for that.

thanks in advance

so i just did a whole google search, and i didn't have much luck with the ken smith bridge search, so i did a bad ass II search and found out that the wrench size is supposedly 1/20 (0.050) inches ...

just to be sure, how many inches/mm is a standard fender bridge?

cause if its bigger than .050 inches, then i guess i have no choice but to buy one of those guitool stuff online

It's likely a metric hex, friend. Go to a hobby shop, they'll have metric hex's. All these builders use Chinese made bridges; Few if any are made in the USA anymore.. Just look on eBay and you'll see the exact bridges these builders use for sale; I bought one for $15 that's the same as used on a Flea bass. Excellent bridge.

Hey incx,

Contact Ken Smith himself. Just a thought!
