Hex Wrench Sizes for US Cirrus 4?

What are the allen wrench sizes to adjust a US Peavey Cirrus 4? I recently bought a Cirrus, and the wrenches are missing.

Your best bet would be to buy a set at a local tool shop, just make sure there is a small one in the set. You should be able to buy a set which goes from the smallest one (for the saddles) to the big one for the truss rod.

I have never used the allen wrenches that came with any of my basses, just a set a had before.

Here's the deal: I have a couple full sets of Allen wrenches. I have had trouble in the past because I thought I had the proper "bite" on a screw, but the screw was metric, and the wrench was standard, or vice-versa. Trying to avoid that with this new Cirrus.

Oh I see.....wuss .

I havnt had this problem before on 10 different basses and around 20 guitars (sorry if that sounds big headed), but I guess you only need to get it wrong once for it to suck. If it were me I would just do it carefully, there shouldnt really be that much force involved, but that is probably the lamest advice you have been given on TB. Do you have a set of calipers maybe to measure the size?

I would go to Harbor Freight and get a big set of metric and a big set of standard. By big, I mean several wrenches covering a wide range. Sets like this will likely include the occasional half size. Keep trying them till you find the one with the tightest fit.

the saddles on my cirrus bxp take a 1.5 mm hex key, if that helps
