Hipshot on 5-string

I just recently tried my first Hipshot on my old Jacksons and love it!! I would also like to put Hipshots on my 5-strings...BUT...I want to put them on the E-string, not the B-string. The problem is they are two big to fit between the tuners. Any Ideas?? Anyone ever done it??

No clue? You can tell me if this sounds stupid or IS stupid. I just didn't think I had an original idea and that someone would know what to or what not to do.

Since you already said it doesn't fit on the E because the B tuner interferes with the lever, my vote is not to do it unless you're a machinist or metal fabricator. My .02, I hope that's the kind of help you are after.
