I might take to you up on that offer, depending on if I swap it or not. I know its not bass id ever sell, so im not worried to much about keeping original parts. I just want it to play and feel like its supposed to.

Why do you regret swapping?

So my question is, would the Hipshot A Style be the best replacement? or better suited for the Hipshot SuperTone?
Any suggestions on what to do here? Im still at a loss on which bridge would be best suited for a G3 replacement...

Because its a vintage bass that I don't have the stock bridge for. I would like to have the stock bridge and cover on it.

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. I'm not a regular here on talkbass. I installed the new Hipshot A on my G3 by myself, intonated and set it up. It plays magnificently now. Sounds ten times better. There is sustain now that wasn't there before. Intonation issues caused by the old bridge are gone now. It fits the string spacing perfectly, but you do need to drill new mounting holes. Fortunately, everything is cover able with both bridges.

The superbridge will not fit a G3. You want the A with .708 string spacing. Which may or may not be a custom order.

I'm sold on Hipshot now and will not be buying tuners and bridges from anyone else.
