How hard would it be to install hipshot detuners on a washburn xb200?

Easy, unless you really meant to type that plural noun.

Yep, if you only want one (like most) it is easy as changing a tuner.

I just googled washburn xb200 and see single mounting screws on each tuner. Bill at Hipshot can tell you which model will fit, call him and ask. In most cases the Hipshot detuner is a direct replacement for a stock tuner.

After looking at Hipshots website I think it is model M4 but it could also be GB7 so do check with them to be sure. Is the stock tuner Gotoh style or Shaller?

Look here. http://store.hipshotproducts.com/car...oduct_list&c=6

yea i just want to put one on the e-string. is it just as simple as taking the original off and putting the new one on, do i need to use a different string or do a new setup on it afterwards?

Almost all are bolt on direct replacement. On one of mine the mounting screws were slightly different spacing than the original requiring drilling on the back of the neck for the mounting screws but that is a worst case scenario, any string will work, and set-up is not required.
