Hipshot extender machinehead for 75 reissue

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,

I'm thinking of adding a hipshot extender machinehead to a 75 usa reissue jazz bass. I was wondering which model is best suited to this bass and if any extra modification is needed (drilling more holes etc) to the headstock or is it a direct relpacement using the original holes.

If anyone has experience of this it would be great to hear your advice!

The BT2 is a direct replacement for the one on your bass.
