Hipshot gb7 how to?

soOOO I JUST bought this hipshot thing 70 bucks and got 1 peg, but it dosent fit, and the screw dosent align i removed the twisting thing from top and took a washer out, is there anything eles i need to remove,

Ibanez sr300 guitar

I broke my E tuning peg. If there is another peg i should buy, ill just save the Hipsot gb7 for something eles a new bass

I presume you bought the right side? The GB7 downtuner needs to be the Bass side if you are installing for the E string.

if so, the GB7 should be 9/16 as standard so the bolthead, washer and nut should all fit in the headstock fine...if you find the little anchor screw dosen't line up with the old hole (compare the GB7 placing against your other bass side tuner) then that is fine...just make a new position with the included self tapping screw.

You shouldn't have to get rid of your Ibby because you snapped a machine head lol!!!
