Old bridge - still have it.
Have yet to string it up as I want to polish up the fretboard etc before I put the strings back on.
I'd imagine it'll make a noticeable difference - it's a much more serious bit of kit!

I always wanted to see what this would look like.
I met one of the reps from Hipshot at NAMM this year. He said that this bridge would even fit on an Epiphone Jack Casady bass.

Did you have to put anything underneath the bridge so that it wouldn't crush the wood on top?

No, I was careful when installing though, to not over-tighten those bolts.
I have noticed however that one of the plugs (I don't know what the technical term is) which you screw the bolts into, is higher, or has come slightly out of the body.
Something I'll have to look at at some point I'd imagine.
Having had a quick look (in the past) I notice this is an issue others have had - and fixed relatively painlessly(?) |

I used to own one but, my main gripe was the bridge.
I'm looking to pick on one up in the next few months and install the Supertone.

Something I'll have to look at at some point I'd imagine. | Ease it out, paint the inside of the cavity (not the post anchor) with super glue, insert the post anchor fully and gently tap it home. If your hand is shaky, mask around the hole so you won't leave glue on the finish. Don't catch the masking tape under the edge of the post anchor.
And that EB2 looks absolutely beautiful...how about a better photo??
