which Hipshot tuners for an early 90's MIJ Jazz?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 93-94 MIJ Jazz. I'd like to replace the stock tuners with some Hipshots. They list 3 types on their site (HB1, HB2, and HB3) that all look pretty much the same.

I thought about getting some Ultralites but weight isn't really a problem and I don't want to drill new holes - I just want to drop in new tuners using the same screw holes (if that's possible).

Thanks!

Can you put a pic up of the back of the headstock?

For an exact fit, the answer is: none.

The HB-1's, 2's or 3's should work depending on the size of the tuner hole, but will require drilling new mounting holes.
