Hipshot Tuners for Lakland 55-01

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know which hipshot clover-leaf style tuners fit on a 55-01 (earlier MIK model)? I think that its HB6C, but I see 2 sizes come up (3/8" post vs. 1/2" post). These are pretty close in size, but I want to make sure that I'm getting the right thing.

Oh, is there anything special about the sadddle height adjustment screws? I have a couple that are a tad rounded out and the allen isn't grabbing like I would like it to.

Thanks!

Ok, so after looking again, it looks like the Hb6C with 3/8" post is what I need. Since there doesn't seem to be much info out there about this, I'll post back once I order and see how they fit.

I said That I would update, so here it is! I ended up emailing hipshot directly and they quickly responded with an answer. Bill (one of the techs there) confirmed that the 3/8" HB6C were indeed the correct tuners to use as a replacement. I received them yesterday and installed them last night. They fit perfectly and work great! I replaced the originals as I think that the cloverleaf design just plain looks better than the stock Y tuners and I am not disappointed. Kudos to hipshot for a great product and customer service!
