Hipshot Xtender GB7 measurement specs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm hoping someone will be able to inform me of what the measurement specs are for the Gotoh style detuners. I'm looking to add a couple Xtenders on my "B" & "G" strings ... and hoping I can fit them with the limited headstock space. (3 + 2 setup)

The back of my headstock looks like this ... (actually less space between tuners than it looks like)

Thanks!

Looking at your B string it looks like it would be a snug fit and maybe the lever would overhang the back of the nut when dropped down when you go for the first fret.
I,ve got one on my T-Bird pro 4 and there is a bit more room from the nut to the tuner.
G string looks like it might be ok when dropped.Try one first on both strings if it doesn,t work then someone will buy it.If it works then get another one.
Might be a thought to get another 5 string to drop tune and swap over.
MM sub 5 would be an affordable answer.Great bass.
