Hofner Truss Rod

Hello, i have posted before about strings, now i moved into another problem of my cheap hofner bass: neck dive.
It's a very bad back bow, every high note(probably starts from fret 11) in every string, when i play it caused crazy fret buzz, even some of the low notes buzzes too.
I brought the bass to a music store but they said they can't repair it because the truss rod won't work on a glued neck bass like i have, the only solution is to re-attach the neck.
Was it true??

"Neck dive", is taken to mean that your bass is unbalanced, that the neck/headstock are heavy enough so that the bass won't balance when strapped on.

It sounds like your cheap bass has a lousy fretjob, the trussrod needs adjusting, and--god help you!--may need the neck reset.
If you're quoting the music store correctly, they're clowns. Get a second and third opinion.

LMAO, "truss rod wont work if neck is glued in". Must have asked someone at a GC. Neck joint has nothing to do with truss rod working or adjustment.
