i have a weird half hole under the pickguard in my bass it has paint andstuff so was done at factory...anyone know why???? trade mark thing????.thanks for the help

I know the Bridge pup cavity and control cavity are connected by routing. Other than the neck pup cavity I don't know about any other holes under the pickguard.
sweet dude thanks you are the man....i had passed that over just didnt want to admit it less hands in the factory but this one is waaaaaay lighter than my old P to which is cool...and it does rock so i cant complain....
