Damn, that basswood is soft innit?

Seriously tho, it would cost AS MUCH if not more than what you paid for that bass to get a quality reshoot in some cases.

As was said, superglue the big chips so they don't peel away, get a close to perfect match in fingernail polish (I've seen many an assortment with a few that get REAL close to that color.... top it off with clear nail polish, wet sand and buff, and call it a day. At least that's what I'd do.

OR, use this as your chance to be "metal" and put a big black duct tape "x" over that spot...and duct tape your strap on at the same time...all the hep cats are doin it.

Best of luck whichever route you choose.

Wheres the fun in having a mint bass, each one should be able to tell a story, ok, fair enough, thats not a very interesting one, but its still a story to tell, make something up

Oh, and yeah, strap locks are nice

recently got some schallers for a cheapy bass, but with my nicer ones i prefer to use the afore-mentioned dunlop plastic things, so that im not altering the hardware

Hi guys. My bass is currently at my luthier's shop. He said he will repair it (there should be a small color difference, but who cares?) and I should be ok for 40 candanian bucks. That's VERY good news.

Now I'm looking to buy strap locks. But I don't feel like installing them so I might go for Dunlop Ergo LOK. Do you have any online shop I could some? And can anyone tell me how it works exactly. The description on their Website is not so great.

Thanks a lot!
