How am I suppose to repair this?

The tip of a instrument cable came off in a semi-hollow body. I've never worked with these before so I don't really know what to do. Should I just loosen the jack and open it? I need the help of someone who knows what they're doing in this situation.

Edit: Fixed it, but see below for my new problem!

It is tricky but not impossible. I've seen guys use coathangers to guide the jack through the f-hole. I don't know what bass you have there but I'm asuming that this is the only way to go.

If it has f holes, just push the tip through (depending on the type of jack, and then drop it out of the f-hole

Ah, now I see, the tip of the plug came off. Yeah as Trev said try and push it in if you can. Most of jacks are open right through so you might be able to use a screwdriver and gently push it in.

If it wont push on through, get together a plastic soda straw, a tube of the gel type superglue and a wood kitchen match.
cut a piece of the soda atraw about a half inch or so shorter than the match. Put the piece of soda straw into the jack until it rests on the detatched tip. Put a tiny dab of the super glue on the end of the match stick and push it down into the soda straw until it contacts the tip and be careful not to move the match for about 5 minues to allow the glue to set up. now pull the match stick straight out of the hole and the tip should come out with it, bringing the straw out at the same time.
Don't skip the straw part or you may glue the matchstick into the jack.

Alright, so I got it out, but I have a new problem. I accidently left some scuff marks around the jack. They're not that deep, but how do I fix them? Just fill them in with black sharpie?

Well, if the bass is black, that can work. If they are just superficial surface scratches, you can get some buffing compund that will polish them out.
