how to clean a warwick maple body?

Sign in to disble this ad
fellow tb'ers,,
just bought Warwcik Streamer Stage 1 5 from -92. nice bass but it's a bit..errrm......shoddy (to say the least!) and needs a clean-up and vaxing. what should I use? I tired a cloth with just a little bit of water which helped somewhat but didn't remove any darker stains. I used soem lemon oil for the fretboard and it looks like new!
Any ideas?

Oh!

Hello bro,
this is the issue i'm dealing with since i've bought a '92 warwick corvette pro line with maple body and neck. It's little dirty around pickups and strap lock. I use soft wood cleaner, it's kind of a lotion with wax and stuff, but it doesn't clear the worst stains. After cleaning i do apply a bee wax, it gives nice smell to the body and it also brings the grain out. But i would like to hear how you all deal with this.

btw,sorry for my english
