i'm not too fond of the action on my acoustic, i find it way too high. From what i've heard this is common for acoustics?
how feasible is it to adjust it? and how do i go about that?
I'm thinking adjusting either the truss rod or the bridge is worth a go? The bridge maybe? truss rod adjustment isn't really suitable for changing the action?
The key bit of the bridge (the white bit in the photos) is removable, i wonder if i could trim that down to make it a bit lower, or maybe even make a replacement part that's a bit smaller (so i still have the original if i need it back)?
Is it possible to get a pre-made part like that? what would it be called? or would i be best just to make it out of a bit of plastic or something. What sort of material is suitable to make it out of?
