How much to add inlays to an existing fretboard?

This may seem silly and I am sure it's probably way too expensive to be practical, but...

...about how much would it cost to have abalone block inlays professionally added to an existing bass? I'm thinking maybe on my USA Deluxe Fender Jazz (maple board) or one of my rosewood boarded basses. Any ideas? It would possibly be cheaper to just get an abalone block inlay bass but I've had a hell of a time trying to find one and I don't really need another bass...
