How much for a new paint job?

I guess it probably just depends on who you go to but anyone have an average price for getting a sunburst jazz bass stripped and painted black?

I usually see $250 - $300 as the standard price for finishing an unfinished body with a solid color. stripping and sanding a prior finish are extra, and can run anywhere from $150 - $300 depending on what the current finish is

depending on what your specific body design is, it's probably cheaper to order a new body from Warmoth if you have something standard like a J-bass
