How much would you pay for a good setup?

I'm going to be getting a new bass soon and need the strings to be low to the frets with minimal buzzing. I haven't really checked around locally, but I'm wondering what yall think is an acceptable price to get a good setup?
$50? $100? More?
Any suggestions for a guy in California area?

$50 at Bass Exchange, Sherman Oaks, CA. Ask for Tina.

Bass Exchange is cool,
I played my first MTD and Zon there!
Good times, and nice people, perhaps a road trip is in store.
Thanks for the suggestion, any other suggestions people?

The most I'd pay for a good setup is $0.

It's way cheaper to do setups yourself, and it's really easy once you learn how.

+1

Learn how to do it yourself, you learn how to manipulate your bass to get exactly what you want, and you get some good experience.
You can also save that 50 smackers for a new cable, or strap, or whatever.
