| Any time you replace a jack, you have to detach wires.
That being said, I don't have a 'Wick, but if it's anything like most flushmount jacks, you have to open up the wiring cavity. Some flushmounted jacks have a threaded nut on the outside with a jackplate, others have a threaded nut on the inside. Whichever yours has, you'll have to unscrew that nut. Once you have the wires removed and the nut removed, you should be able to remove the jack. |
