How to remove P knobs

Do they just pull off, or is there some trick for removing standard chrome flat top P knobs?

Usually there is a small screw in the side of each one.

on mine (2006 highway 1) there are screws in the side of the knob you have to remove before you can take the knob off.

Maybe these aren't standard knobs. They're on a Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn and I'm not seeing any screw slots in the holes for the retaining screws.

Try an allen wrench.

/\ +1. If there's a hole, there's a screw, but it may be an Allen screw.
