There's no good way. Sandpaper, I'm afraid. Then refinish the headstock.

From what I gather, most of them are easy enough with simple nail polish remover. I once did that to an Affinity BSB Tele and it came right off, but then I immediately regretted it because I felt like a fraud.

If I recall, the decal on the VM is under the finish. Easiest thing to do would be just sand the entire headstock clean and refinish. If it's lacquer than you might be able to get it off and spot repair the finish, but unless you're really good with spot repairs like that it won't look too pretty when you're done.

This is a lightening rod issue.

Sanding the headstock and refinishing it is the best way to remove it.

The logo came off of an OLP I have with a little steel wool and a little light rubbing..the finish was still there underneath so no refinishing of the headstock was necessary

YMMV

Right - as long as the decal is OVER the finish. Different story if it's UNDER a few coats of finish.

Why do you want to take it off? Do you want to put an SX logo on it?

"what its matters anyway?"

Because you or someone else can sell it for twice or more the price down the road as a real Fender, just sayin'

I once put a Ferrari hood ornament on my Nissan Pulsar. Unfortunately though, it was not a clever enough ruse to work when I tried to sell it for Ferrari prices though...maybe there were some differences besides the hood ornament.

OP: Do as you wish, don't let the haters bother you. Have you thought about just stickering over the existing sticker? That is what I would do.

To the peanut gallery: Anyone lacking the sophistication to discern a Fender from a Squire sans sticker should be buying a squire anyway.
