how to reverse hipshot tuner

how do you switch a hipshot ultralight tuner from rightt-hand to left-hand operation? is there a certian procedure to follow? the allen screw seems a bit stubborn... i searched the archives and found nothing... thanks for the help, ron

I think there's a reason why they are left and right ultralites. I don't think they're reversible.

Well, maybe they're not reversible for the French! The switch-out can be a PIA especially if the cap screw / tensioner seizes up. The Hipshot is really a nice product, though...nine basses, nine sets of Ultralites!
